Logitech Flight Yoke System Review
Logitech Flight Yoke System Review, Driver, Manual and Software – Now, I know that most of you who read this will have all of these controls. Most of our pilots take their simulations very seriously. Otherwise, they will not be trained to learn how to fly them properly.
That said, at AOA, we also have a lot of boilers just starting. Aviator90 sees many new arrivals in Flight Simulation. If you are a newcomer, or you do not have all these controls, read on, and I will outline a few compelling reasons why you need all three controls.
Yokes
Unless you are flying an Airbus or helicopter, you must have a yoke. The yoke is the gold standard in flight. It is the control you will spend the most use. Plus, here at Angle of Attack, we are not big fans by directly involving autopilot or using AUTOLAND all the time. We think you should have a good feeling at the controls and lots of practice flying with your hands. You can’t do that without spending the proper amount of time using that control.
Outside of all controls, the yoke must be the first control you buy. The yoke is highly recommended because of the Angle of Attack. It’s well built, controls well, and even comes with a separate throttle. Using this control has proven to be worth the money and investment.
The buttons have a fantastic and intuitive layout, the yoke built from great material, and the digital display screen can serve many functions. If you are looking for something super reliable that will not damage the bank and something that feels realistic, this control is for you. That is the control we use for most of the training you see in Angle of Attack.
Strangling
There’s nothing like having a throttle for every engine on your 747 (4 motors) other than speed brakes and shutter levers. Push the throttle forward, select TO / GA, and manage all the base functions there, on the accelerator.
It is a dream!, That is a dream you can achieve. With a few throttles on the market, you can get another significant step in realism by being able to control your strength, secondary flight control, and more.
First, Throttle Saitek comes with Saitek Yoke by default. That alone is a significant benefit! Both are deficient values when compared to adding together some CH Product controls.

This throttle is well-built and can sit high or low on your desk with an adjustable bracket at the back.
However, this throttle only has three axes. That makes it work for traditional single-engine aircraft with strength, tone, and mix. If you fly a virtual jet, you will want to take another throttle, which can then be linked together, and operate in that way.
Pedal Rudder
Maybe the control that everyone forgot, and the control that they got last was the steering pedal. I must say that the steering pedal adds a surprising amount of realism to my simulator.
On the day I got the steering pedal, I was amazed at how much more realistic it was to have to use a taxi with my feet, rather than just turning the yoke (the plane driven with a nozzle, steering, and sometimes the leading equipment through the steering) pedals).
I guess that most of you have yokes and valves, and you feel more or less ready. I would also imagine that there are many people out there who don’t care about the steering pedals. My friend, you lost. The steering wheel will add a surprising amount of realism to your simulation!
Especially when you start the engine out procedure, and fly the aircraft without yawning, you will find this steering pedal to be very immersive.
Conclusion
If you are serious about realism, what I suspect you are, you need all three controls. If you don’t have all three controls, I suggest you make a plan to get all three. Forget about rebuying addons before you take this step because this is very important.
You will see that there are several price levels. Although CH products are cheaper, I also recommend waiting a little longer to get higher quality control from Saitek. Should you survive and save for GoFlight? Maybe not, unless you really can afford it. Right now, focus on preparing with something that will work great. Then you can get excellent control if you have coins.
