Performance
That is definitely a wheel for enthusiasts; ordinary racers will not get enough of this leather, plastic, and metal monster to justify spending. The problem here, G25 is available for around £ 160 if you shop around which is half the price of this latest wheel.
So what did you miss with the old model? Oddly enough, what seemed to be missing were the six programmable buttons. The G25 has a switch to change gated gears to a simple sequential shift, which the G27 strangely lacks.
We hope that the final result of the G27 will be better and the clamps safer, but it is still easy to grab both the shift or the wheel from the table with a tight turn, and the gear stick as light as before.
