Logitech G935 Gaming Headset Review

Logitech G935 Gaming Headset Review, Driver, Manual and Software  –  The G935 is quite large, like a wireless headset, at 7.4 x 7.7 x 3.4 inches but not too heavy at 13.4 ounces. Like the G933, it has a black plastic chassis that is partly matte and partly shiny.

Geometric patterns adorn the ear cups and headband, giving it a definite “gamer” vibration without going over the edge. Squared earcups distinguish them from a more traditional pair of headphones, but I have not found them to be better or worse for their unusual shapes.

Design

I gave the G935 some props right off the bat to hide the USB dongle under the magnetic cover on his left earcup. (The wireless dongle is almost guaranteed to be lost if you don’t have a reasonable place to store it.) Like any other Logitech headsets, the G935 also has a microphone that can be pulled and well hidden in the left earplug, which is very easy to do. Save when not in use.

The G935 has imitation leather earmuffs and a soft headband, both of which feel supportive and breathe. No headband or earcup presses too hard, so I can wear the headset for hours without any harmful effects, even with active glasses. The strange shape of the ear cups prevents them from making a perfect seal, but that also means your ears won’t sweat too much, so it seems like a fair exchange.

The G935 works quite well with a PC, but if you have PS4 and Switch too, the peripheral value has the potential to triple. Plug the wireless dongle into a PC, PS4 or Switch, and you can use wireless.

To get the most out of G935, you must install the Logitech G Hub software. You can do quite a lot to adjust your experience, from changing sound options to adjusting lighting patterns. Arguably, the most important feature in the G Hub is DTS 7.1 surround sound and various equalization profiles.

While the G935 looks a bit old-fashioned, it is a sturdy gaming headset at a reasonable price. The wireless features are flawless, the sound quality is impeccable and fits comfortably enough for everyone except the most tiring marathon session.

The Bad > Dated physical design, Unnecessary RGB lighting.

The Good > Great sound, Flawless wireless connectivity, Versatile connections, Comfortable fit.

Conclusion > The G935 is one of the better wireless gaming headsets on the market, with great sound and a comfortable fit
