Logitech K850 Wireless Keyboard Review
Logitech K850 Wireless Keyboard Review, Driver, Manual and Software – Logitech K850 aims to be a keyboard for your desktop, cellphone, and tablet. With a roomy design and ergonomic mind, this keyboard is also a gift for a sore wrist. But while the agility of the K850 in juggling wireless connections was impressive, the keys themselves felt soft.
Design
K850 certainly feels comfortable thanks to a soft armrest and a slight ergonomic protrusion in the middle of the main button. Two pairs of folding legs tilt the K850 to four or eight degrees; we stuck with an eight-degree pair.
The keys themselves boast an excellent ride and a whisper, but don’t bother much. If you like getting satisfying clicks from your keystrokes (we know), the K850 key might feel smooth, especially when it just came out of the box. With time and repeated tapping, the individual buttons on the K850 start to feel a little sharper. But the buttons that are less used (such as function keys and numeric keypad keys) continue to feel stubborn.

Back on the plus side, the spacious design of the K850 makes it easy to feel the way around the keyboard. And we appreciate how keys like Start, Alt, and Control automatically change functions depending on whether the keyboard connected to a PC or Mac. Windows users (not Macs, unfortunately) also get seven programmable keys, where you can assign functions using the downloadable Logitech Options application.
Performance
The K850 connects with up to three devices at once via Bluetooth 4.0 or a 2.4GHz wireless connection (including a single wireless USB dongle). You can switch devices by tapping one of the three white “easy-switch” buttons to the right of the function button. Pairing the device is a simple matter of pressing and holding one of the buttons until the indicator light flashes. We paired the K850 to my Windows 10, iPhone, iPad, and iMac PC without any problems, and the keyboard quickly restored the connection after a few moments of inactivity.
Although it can connect to cellphones and tablets with minimum hassles, the K850 itself isn’t too portable. With folded legs, the 1.6-pound K850 is quite flat, and only one inch thick, but this 17 x 8.27-inch keyboard feels much more comfortable on a table than stuffed into a wallet or backpack.
The Bad > Keys feel annoyingly squishy, Too big to be truly portable
The Good > Comfortable design, Switches among desktops, phones, and tablets with ease, Seven programmable keys
Conclusion > The Logitech K850 works with your desktop, phone, and tablet, and its roomy. But keyboard experience was marred by mushy-feeling keys.
