Logitech MeetUp Conference Camera Review
Logitech MeetUp Conference Camera Review, Driver, Manual and Software – MeetUp looks like a big webcam, with a central camera flanked by an ‘ear’ that contains a microphone, speakers, and other components. Setup is easy, plug the device in and connect it to your PC (Win 7 or higher), (macOS 10.10 or higher) or Chromebook (Version 29.0.1547.70, Platform 4319.79.0) via a USB cable and you’re good to use after You instruct your conference software to work with it.
MeetUp has ‘business class’ certification for Skype for Business and Cisco Jabber, and offers “enhanced integration” with apps like BlueJeans, Broadsoft, LifeSize Cloud, Vidyo, and Zoom.
Design
The remote control is a small-sized device powered by two CR2032 batteries connected to a MeetUp device via Bluetooth. A button placed on the back of the camera unit that will put it in pairing mode on the old press: do the same with the Bluetooth button on the remote itself and finish. The remaining buttons on the remote are mute microphone; contact answer; end the call; volume up / down; zoom in / zoom out; pan/tilt camera; camera house; and two configurable preset buttons.
Features
The MeetUp camera is a pan-tilt-zoom unit that supports up to 4K UltraHD video (2160p) at 30 frames per second (fps) via a USB 3.0 cable (note that Logitech supplies USB 2.0 cables, which only support up to full HD) 1080p video). The lens designed by Logitech cameras captures a 120-degree wide field of view angle with minimal distortion and extends 25 degrees left and right, which covers a total of 170 degrees.
Zoom to 5x, but note that this is digital zoom so there is a little lack of image quality. If you want “good image” optical zoom (up to 10x), you are looking at more expensive Group products. Panning, zooming, and tilting all work smoothly under remote control, both through the units provided and using the smartphone application.

Three file-shaped microphones which isolate noise pick up audio within 2.4 meters (8 feet) and will serve up to six people. It sits in a suspended acoustic enclosure and is ‘sound optimized,’ using signal processing techniques such as sound activity detection (VAD) and suppression of microphone background noise.
The Bad > Optional extension mic is expensive, Control software is a separate download, Digital rather than optical zoom, USB 2.0 cable supplied rather than USB 3.0
The Good > Easy to setup and use, Supports UltraHD 4K video at 30fps, Wide-angle pan-tilt-zoom camera, Capable full-duplex audio subsystem, Free smartphone remote control app
Conclusion > Recommended for Business and start-up.
