Logitech StreamCam Review
StreamCam designed for, you guessed it, streamers and other content creators – very much, you can play StreamCam on a three-axis clip for portrait mode if you want your content to be more mobile-friendly. Or stay horizontal. Whatever you choose, the holder can be easily tilted face down to 90 degrees if you want people to see your keyboard and mouse movements, or your fingers playing the instrument. No additional gear is needed, but StremCam comes with an extra holder that can be mounted on a tripod for more complex settings.
Features
Logitech Capture 2.0 gets a decent upgrade to support this new cam, and now it also works on Mac. Here you can mess up cam image settings or add some silly filters if you want to be a coworker who wants to be in black and white during their conference call.
This software also automates many settings that are not bothered by most people, such as lighting, white balance, and face tracking. There is even a chroma lock feature if you are working with a green screen. Although this will not replace something profound like OBS or XSplit, Logitech Capture 2.0 is a fast and dirty choice if you need to record video at a steady pace. It does require several sources, including your screen, but found that using transitions between different scenes is somewhat confusing. Face tracking is an impressive feature if you move around a lot on the camera and can be turned on / off through the same software.
There are several complaints that I have with the camera itself. While the USB-C cable is a smart choice, the cable itself is on the shorter side of fewer than five feet. That is limiting if you have plans to take any content outside the desk environment. The cable also built into the webcam, so if you bend or damage the wire, you are out of luck and $ 169. But this is still a much cheaper option than using a DSLR camera as a webcam that you often see using popular streamers, and requires fewer settings.

Conclusion
The expensive Logitech StreamCam does two things very well: versatile and easy to use. If you are serious about streaming (and have cash), it’s hard not to recommend StreamCam if you are looking for a serious upgrade to your content easily, one of the best webcams that you can buy now.
