Logitech Zone Wireless Headset Review

Logitech Zone Wireless Headset Review, Driver, Manual and Software  –  Zone, Logitech wireless headsets are created to handle certain situations: open offices. This design trend might be right for collaboration, but it can be a barrier when you are just trying to work. Noise and lack of privacy could kill productivity & increase stress levels, which will lead to lower job satisfaction.

The Design

The Zone Wireless Headset has a flexible padded headband & comfortable leather earmuffs.
The headset weighs 6.4 ounces & has a soft silicon metal headband that provides comfort fitting without feeling constructive. Soft leather pads make the on-ear phone comfortable and breathe enough to wear comfortably for hours. The microphone, which can be worn on either left or right, automatically mutes when you play it and sounds when you lower it.

The power button and ANC (Active Noise Canceling) button on the headset is in the same ear cup as the microphone. They will be positioned on the back or front of the container. The play/pause and volume controls are on the outside to the microphone cup, and there is a mute button on the microphone arm itself. All of this is easily controlled with your thumb or index finger when you wear a headset.

You can charge The Zone Wireless using the supplied USB cable, and with a third-party Qi wireless charger. This headset also equipped with a travel pocket and a USB-A dongle that allows you to connect a headset plus up to six other Logitech Unifying wireless products to your computer simultaneously.

Setup

You can play music in Logitech Zone Wireless, with pretty good sound quality.
To connect the headset to your phone, you press the power button for one second to activate Bluetooth pairing. And then select Zone Wireless from the list of devices the phone recognizes. Headset voice prompts notify you when the installation is successful.

Performance

we use Zone Wireless at our headquarters, and although we don’t usually use a headset, we quickly found this critical.

Ear glasses are comfortable to wear for stretching for hours. With ANC activated, Zone Wireless filters out most of the audio disturbances we face every day, from the buzz of family activities to the sound of traffic from the freeway outside my office window. Even our typing clicks were significantly reduced. However, we have never felt disconnected from our environment. If someone comes to talk to me, we can hear it clearly without removing the headset.

During a telephone call, audio becomes clear without echo or disconnect. We found the Sidetone control very useful because it allayed fears that we might “scream” at the conference call. Although these aren’t headphones for listening to exclusive music, playback quality is better than average, with clear highs and lows.

Earcups on Zone Wireless are folded together as shown for wireless storage or charging.
Zone Wireless does not include a wireless charger, but Logitech provides one for this review. For wireless charging, you fold the ear cups together and place them on the charger. Even though this is an additional cost, we feel that comfort is worth it.

The Point

I would recommend the Wireless Zone headset to anyone who works in an open office or another busy workspace. It makes switching between your playlists and your phone with ease and provides the peace and tranquility needed when you have to get down to business.

The Bad > Music reproduction not as good as with dedicated headphones

The Good > Comfortable to wear for long stretches, ANC effectively filters out ambient noise, Makes it easy to switch between listening to music and talking on the phone

Conclusion > The Logitech Zone Wireless headset is an effective way to regain some privacy in open office settings.
